Welcome to the Jura mountains
On foot, by bike, on horseback, on skis or by canoe, the variety of natural habitats around our gîtes invites visitors to explore must-see sights such as the Saut du Doubs waterfall and the Cirque de Consolation. The many hiking trails, such as the Chemins de la Contrebande, are dotted with viewing points and reveal a rich palette of colours through the seasons.
These bucolic, authentic spaces are also home to an incredible wealth of biodiversity that deserves to be protected and preserved.
The cultural heritage is not to be outdone. The birthplace of the Montbéliarde cow and the Comtois horse, the region produces famous specialities such as Comté cheese, Mont d’Or and Morteau sausage.
